We found the following graphic. We thought it was cool and represented Jmann93's style well so we thought we would share it with you.
If you missed my official Twitter statement, here you go..
Dear Twitter,
I apologize if this tweet turns into a book but here we go.. Today, October 10th, 2011, the Club Penguin blogging family lost a cherished member of our family. He was a friend, actually, a great friend. I sit here today writing this, in the same room where I talked to Jmann93 on Skype for the first time, over two years ago. That day on Skype changed my life. Jmann took me in as one of his own and made me the blogger I am today. He gave me valuable life lessons and put me on the path to success. Why did he choose me? Well, maybe it was destiny. Today, he is my best online friend. And I think if you ask him, he will say the same. I'm tearing up right now.. One second............
I know that last part didn't need to be written but I just wanted you to understand how this is actually playing out as I write this. I have attended every Jmann93 milestone party. Including the one year anniversary and the one million hits party. I think it is safe to say that I was a BIG FAN! Actually, he tells me sometimes that I might have been too much of a fan. Haha. I used to bug him a lot in his Xat chat, when I was just a penguin in the crowd. No one knew who I was.
But let me get back to Jmann93. Jam had a way of doing things. He did things "right". Unfortunately, I haven't even been able to reach most of the standards that he has set in this blogging community. For all of you "swaggernauts" out there, I apologize. But, Jmann93 has done things the best, and it will always stay that way. But that's okay. I don't mind being second. Or maybe even third. But one thing that makes me happy, is that Jam showed me the ropes. He taught me how to do things "right". And even though Jmann93 might not be around anymore blogging, you can always see a little bit of his style right here in my own work. Because he has been my mentor and my "brother". And I can never thank him for all that he has done for me.
One thing that sticks out in my mind is that fame never got to him. He use to ask me on skype, "Am I really famous? Like I don't feel any different. I just want to help penguins!" And I would say, "Yea, You are kind of a big deal". And even though Jmann93.com never became a google hit and never had 300+ online at all times, he did deserve it. And if you notice, all of those guys that do have that, there Twitter followers are right with Jay! You know why? Because Jmann93 had the biggest fan community in CP blogging. His was caring to his fans! So people responded. One of the most caring guy you will ever meet. I don't care what anyone says. This is true. I mean, I'm a fan. And chances are, you are too. This all goes back to doing things "right." Even though he grew older, and his blog did too. HE DIDN'T LEAVE. HE DIDN'T LET OTHERS TAKE IT OVER. He did it all! Because he has to do this "right"! He had to do this for you! TEAMJAMMER!
So why do you think he's leaving? For the reasons above! I don't need to mention any names, but Jam is different from all the other famous penguins. He wants himself to represent his site and he wants to be there for his fans. He wasn't going to let his site just fall off. So this is what he did. and he did it FOR YOU! This all goes back to doing things the "RIGHT WAY."
Jmann93 Is A Class Act. A Legend. My Friend. Loved By All Of Us. A Friend To All Of You. And He Will Stay In Our Hearts Forever. This Isn't Then End. This Is A New Beginning.
Jmann93 will always be around everyone. Count on that. Do you really think that he can't take the time to say good morning on his phone on the way to school, on Twitter ? Of course he can do that! And again, that's doing it "Right". That's for TeamJammer.. Team Jammer you are the best. You guys rock! We miss ya Jam! Thanks for being my friend and my Best Friend. :)

ReplyDeleteThere goes the best CP blogger we have every seen, and with an awesome tribute too. We are all sad to see him go, and will miss him always. He left his site, but not his friends. Like Lebron said, this isnt the end. It is just a new beginning.

I remember a lot of things that involved his site in my life. I can remember meeting Aunt Arctic for the first time, thanks to the one and only Jmann93 and his chat. I also remember using it a lot to find Rockhopper when he had a new BG. I used it for Rookie. I remember his birthday party in 2009. What a great party that was. I remember meeting him at the Mine in February 2010 at the Rock Slide when it was closed off for those months. For some reason, everything that he did and everything his site's done that involves me is suddenly popping into my mind at this moment.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you, Jam, for all the good times you've shared on your blog. A new, fresh beginning is always good. Jam's decision was NOT stupid, it was just smart. Thank you, Jam, for making my CP experience one of the best ones ever. I will never forget it.
